Rocanegra is a global entertainment media network specialized in electronic dance music and culture. Its key areas are distribution, publishing, lifestyle, media, events, branding, broadcasting, promotion, bookings and management.
The media platforms Rocanegra operates are within web, radio, mobile, press, events and distributions, as well as the constant development of new music-spread models.


Why? Because our main goal with Rocanegra is to serve as a generator of new ideas and thoughts about the relationship between clubbing and citizens. The lack of information in many countries about the evolution of clubbing and dance music styles, makes us realise there are many things to be done to help the scene work in other terms than just money and fashion. Our knowledge an in-deep focus assist companies or brands in everything from planning to implementation of strategies related to the dance music industry.



Partner

Rocanegra and it´s partners works around three common areas of business to form a comprehensive platform for the promotion, streaming, events and distribution of music. Our technical partner Emunity Edge was born after the fusion between Emunity and Aller Edge. Emunity was founded in 1999 and is one of the pioneers within the mobile service niche in the Scandinavian market. Aller Edge established itself as a leader in the development of web radio and mobile radio in Scandinavia. Together, we have almost ten years of experience of developing and managing popular and profitable interactive services for the most prominent media companies, telecom operators and retail chains. Our strength is our leading experience in streaming, mobile media and our technical competence within the area.


3G Radio Mobile Streaming

It does not get any easier than 3G radio. It is immediate radio broadcasted over 3G technology. Few mobile services are easier to use and promote than this. This makes the service perfect for a telecom operator who is in the process of launching 3G: It illustrates the benefits and opportunities of mobile broadband without resorting to acronyms and technical lingo. This service has been a solid commercial success in the nordic markets. The 3G radio service features a variety of mainstream and niched radio channels broadcasted over the 3G network. The idea is simple: Everything that you hear on the radio, you can bookmark, listen and download later at anytime you wish. You can save songs individually or organize them into playlists. All songs that are used in the 3G Radio databases are also made available on demand. The two words that lead us during the development of the 3G Radio service were: Fun, and easy-to-use.





Rocanegra as aggregator

Rocanegra is a new aggregator and content provider based on electronic dance music for the mobile industry. We are today already streaming audio and video content on the Internet to promote our mobile channels, partners and clients towards Telcos. Rocanegra simplifies distribution, with its own editor's team, radio officers and representatives such as John Dahlbäck, Albin Myers, Francesco Diaz, D.O.N.S among many others. As a distributor, Rocanegra seeks constantly more catalogues from the leading artists and labels in the industry to cover current market demands, which are growing every day.




Events and Promotion

Rocanegra Events strength lies in the comprehensive synchronization of any event and creativity needed for the end result to be successful. What companies and labels needs kind of strategy to get a fast return of investment either it is for clubbers or consumers of their product. We organize promotion events for label campaigns. Niched artists offer opportunities for even more creative campaigns, as they often are more dependent on partnerships to increase their limited marketing budgets. Except for the options we have mentioned above, we have done campaigns together with artists where we let listeners compete for VIP tickets and chances to meet the artist. We have also had the opportunity to do limited releases of previously unreleased material for several artists. Entertainment services can be used for a number of purposes when it comes to postpaid customers: To generate direct revenues, improve customer acquisition or simply to reduce churn. If we pro- mote a label we can fast and easy use the Telco ́s platform to all their subscribers. And the service can be bundled with downloads to listeners.


Prepaid
In terms of the prepaid segment, the service can successfully be used to reduce churn. For example, the consumer can download playlist every time they charge their card with a certain amount. In this way, the consumer both has an incentive to charge their card.



Editors

The editorial services are mainly focused on digital rights, management, content consumption and liaisons with artists and record labels. Digital rights management refers to the process of clearing the necessary rights to the music catalogue. Content consumption refers to the task of a continuos research and aggregation of new music to the database. Liaisons with artists and record labels aim to secure unique content and events to connect to the service: For example, clearing the rights to a coming release of a popular artist or securing the image rights required to use an artist in marketing material. Today, Rocanegra is the content supplier of Tele 2 Scandinavia and will expand to all Tele 2 operating countries in 2010
